1990 के दशक के आरंभ में शुरू किए गए आर्थिक सुधारों एवं उदारीकरण के बाद से हुई सतत प्रगति ने भारत को यूरोपीय संघ, अमरीका, चीन और जापान के बाद क्रय शक्ति समानता के लिहाज से विश्व की चौथी सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था बना दिया है।

75. I conveyed our view that these goals can be best advanced through sustained international commitment to Afghanistan, by building Afghan capacities for governance and security through initiatives that are led and controlled by the Afghans themselves.

हमने विचार व्यक्त किया कि अफगानिस्तान के प्रति सतत अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय वचनबद्धता के जरिए ही इन लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। इस प्रकार की वचनबद्धता में स्वयं अफगानियों द्वारा संचालित और नियंत्रित पहलकदमियों के जरिए शासन एवं सुरक्षा से संबद्ध अफगानिस्तान की क्षमताओं का निर्माण करना शामिल है।

76. On the positive side, thanks to sustained growth rates, high savings rates and a prudent financial approach, Asia and the developing world have witnessed a greater accretion of relative economic power following the financial crisis of 2008.

सकारात्मक पक्ष यह है कि सतत आर्थिक दरों, उच्च बचत दरों तथा विवेकपूर्ण वित्तीय नजरिए के कारण एशिया तथा अन्य विकासशील देशों में वर्ष 2008 की वित्तीय मंदी के बाद से सापेक्षिक आर्थिक ताकत का बेहतर सहवर्धन हुआ है।

77. The HCHR also advocates for the Government of Sri Lanka to continue meaningful consultations with relevant stakeholders on transitional justice and the reform agenda, and urges the UNHRC to sustain its close engagement and monitoring of developments in Sri Lanka.

एचसीएचआर ने श्रीलंका सरकार को संक्रमणकालीन न्याय और सुधारात्मक एजेंडे पर संबद्ध हितधारकों के साथ अर्थपूर्ण विचार-विमर्श जारी रखने के लिए भी कहा था और यूएनएचआरसी को श्रीलंका से घनिष्ठ संपर्क बनाए रखने और विकास की निगरानी करने हेतु कहा था।

78. We had extensive exchange of views on the situation in West Asia and the Middle East Peace Process. We agreed that the challenges in West Asia must be addressed through sustained political dialogue and peaceful means.

पश्चिम एशिया और मध्य पूर्व शांति प्रक्रिया की स्थिति पर हमने विचारों का व्यापक आदान-प्रदान किया है| हम सहमत हुए कि पश्चिम एशिया में चुनौतियों को निरंतर राजनीतिक वार्ता और शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से संबोधित किया जाना चाहिए।

79. India with a 300 million strong middle class, a burgeoning market economy with significant investment inflows and robust long-term outlook for its ability to sustain high growth rates, is emerging as an important driver of growth in Asia and the world.

300 मिलियन जनसंख्या वाले मध्य वर्ग, एक उभरती बाजार व्यवस्था, जिसमें निवेशों का महत्वपूर्ण प्रवाह हो रहा है और जिसके पास उच्च विकास दर को बनाए रखने के लिए एक सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण है, के साथ भारत एशिया और विश्व में विकास के एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रेरणा स्रोत के रूप में उभर रहा है।

80. To sustain the efforts of being a Polio-free and maternal and neonatal tetanus free Nation, and to accelerate the full immunization coverage in the country, my Government has added to the world’s largest immunization drive another mission known as “Mission Indradhanush”.

पोलियो मुक्त और मातृ एवं नवजात शिशु संबंधी टेटनॅस से मुक्त राष्ट्र बने रहने के प्रयास जारी रखने तथा देश में संपूर्ण टीकाकरण की कवरेज में तेजी लाने के लिए मेरी सरकार ने ‘मिशन इंद्रधनुष’ के नामक अभियान चलाया, जो दुनिया के सबसे बड़े टीकाकरण अभियानों में से एक है।
